Before You Start
BIOS settings may look different depending on your motherboard brand and model. If you are unsure, take a photo of your BIOS screen before changing anything, or ask someone familiar with PC settings to assist.
⚠️ Common Errors

⌨️ Step 1: Enter BIOS
Restart your PC and press the correct key during startup. You may need to spam the key repeatedly right after pressing the power button.

🧩 Step 2: Enable VT-d or IOMMU
Vanguard may require virtualization-related security settings to be enabled in BIOS.
- On Intel: Go to Advanced → CPU Configuration, then enable Intel Virtualization (VT-x) and Intel VT-d.
- On AMD: Go to Advanced → CPU Configuration / Northbridge, then enable SVM Mode and IOMMU.
🛡️ Step 3: Enable HVCI / Memory Integrity
- Press Win + S and type Core Isolation.
- Open Core Isolation settings.
- Turn Memory Integrity to ON.
- Restart your PC.
✅ Extra Tips
- Enable Secure Boot in BIOS.
- Run Valorant as Administrator.
- Windows 10 should be version 1903+.
- Windows 11 is generally supported, but Secure Boot / TPM / HVCI settings may still matter.
🖥️ How to Check Your Motherboard Brand and CPU
1) Check Motherboard Brand & Model
Option A – Command Prompt
- Press Win + R, type cmd, then press Enter.
- Run this command:
wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber
This will show your motherboard manufacturer such as ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, Dell, HP, Lenovo, or Acer, together with the product model.
2) Check Through System Information
- Press Win + R, type msinfo32, then press Enter.
- Check BaseBoard Manufacturer and BaseBoard Product.
3) Check Whether You Have Intel or AMD
- Right-click the taskbar and open Task Manager.
- Go to the Performance tab, then click CPU.

Check the CPU name:
- If it says Intel, you likely need VT-d enabled.
- If it says AMD, you likely need SVM / IOMMU enabled.
